A Rainy Day
She was in the park reading a novel just like any other Friday evening. The evening sky kind and gentle, the breeze serene and tranquil, injecting life into her meaningless life. of course she would come here, it reminded her that she was still alive. She was a girl in her early twenties, who was no longer a girl but had matured into a women, working in a mediocre office job.
He was as usual in the park just like every other evening after office. He had nothing else to do, now what would he do in an empty house with no family. His parents died 3 years ago in a car crash leaving him; the only child, alone in this world. This park and its comfort, which the nature aided, was all that was left to him. And so here he was sitting on a bench alone but not alone.
Something was off that day, the park was empty with not a soul to be. Well of course these two were there, but isn't that a little too romantic...
"Anyways"
To his surprise it suddenly started to pour down heavenly. he who had came from the office was on his car. He got up to approach his car when just suddenly he noticed a sight that would leave him breathless.
He approached her who was also stunned of how visible his collar bone was, how drops were tripping down the jawline to the chin, how a man seemed so frail and a skin so pale. He only intended to give her a ride since he looked around and could not find any transport. She was still lost in his greenish eyes. He was absolutely no sight to see but there are times when you see mirages, yes this mirage is called love, so real yet so abstract. He seeing her so stunned acted on his instinct and offered her to get in the car so he could drop her of. Seeing the situation she was in, she too could not refuse the gesture.
It is was certainly no instinct he too had been trapped by a magic spell and just couldn't have wanted to miss this opportunity which the heavens had so kindly bestowed upon him.
And so they both sat in his car, she gave him the directions and in a few minutes the were at her doorstep. This ride was not all that simple for neither of them. Not once could there eyes meet, not a word from either, as if they were aliens to each others life forms.
She got of the car and started approaching her door, she wanted to thank him, but was just too shy to do so.
He was still starring out of his car for one more gaze at those sapphire eyes. Just when he had lost all hope she turned around with a bright smile, something which melted his heart to the core.
But this was not the beginning of a new story...He left...
For some people love is just to hard to handle.
I am fond of your profound writing and want to see masterpieces coming through writings
ReplyDeleteindeed you will
DeleteGood Going Lrky...Keep up🙌
ReplyDeleteEnchanting! Great effort! But leave out the 'grabbed her and let's go' part consent is a hot issue these days. Rest is marvelous
ReplyDeleteA prince kissed snow white to wake her up, guess what would have happened had he thought, this is non consensual. Same goes for sleeping beauty, so neither them nor she would have preferred an evil fate.
DeleteBtw I am just messing with you re read that part again, I made some minor adjustments.
DeleteGood choice of words 🔥
